君子兰出苗率与种子的质量关系极大。可从以下几个方面鉴别：
从种子的色泽上看：亮度好的比亮度差的好。
从种子的形状上看：果实收口处饱满凸起的(俗称“香瓜屁股”)比扁平或内凹的好。
从种子的胚眼上看：有明照珠孔比无明显珠孔的好。
